We are a volunteer-based medical facility providing primary health care and dental services for the low income residents of Volusia County who have no health insurance and need medical care. We provide quality, charitable health care and preventative medical services in a caring environment to the working uninsured in Volusia County and the greater Daytona Beach area. The facility is not an emergency room or a walk-in clinic, but an appointment only primary care clinic. Patients will have to meet certain criteria before being seen.
WHO WE ARE
We are an initiative of the Daytona Beach Vision Foundation and are in partnership with Halifax Hospital, Advent Hospital, Bethune Cookman University, the Volusia County Health Department and other community health organizations. Widespread community support has included medical equipment and service, volunteers, and donations.
The Volusia Free Clinic began providing free health care to the working uninsured residents of Volusia County in August of 2015. Since then, the clinic has grown to more than 30 hours of patient care each week and has seen more than 500 patients.
Quality medical care begins with skilled, experienced and caring professionals. Our patients are taken care of by a volunteer physicians and medical providers, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and nurses in our community. For us to thrive, we rely upon the volunteerism, donations, and the dedication of caring professionals in our community. Please contact us if you would like to help and donate your time or resources to our cause.
