Volusia Free Clinic a volunteer-based medical facility helping to provide primary health care for low-income residents of Volusia County who have no health insurance. The facility is not an emergency room or a walk-in clinic, but an appointment-only primary care clinic. Patients must meet certain criteria before being seen. All patients must be pre-screened and registered through the health department before being seen by doctors.
WHO WE ARE
We work in partnership with Halifax Hospital, Advent Hospital, Bethune Cookman University, the Volusia County Health Department and other community health organizations. Widespread community support has included medical equipment and service, volunteers, and donations.
The Volusia Free Clinic began providing free health care to the working uninsured residents of Volusia County in August of 2015.
Quality medical care begins with skilled, experienced and caring professionals. Our patients are taken care of by volunteer physicians and medical providers, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and other medical professionals in our community. For us to thrive, we rely upon the volunteerism, donations, and the dedication of caring professionals in our community. Please contact us if you would like to help and donate your time or resources to our cause.
